Our mission at Blue Gems Swim School is to make a difference in children’s lives by allowing them to grow, enjoy and shine. As a family owned facility we think of ourselves as more than just a swim school. When a family joins Blue Gems they are welcomed into what we call the Blue Gems Family. Our swim school is incredibly unique because of our mission driven purpose and care we provide to our students.
The curriculum at Blue Gems was developed by professional elite athletes and educators to ensure students are taught from an exceptional level of expertise. Our State-of-The-Art facility utilizes both deep water and shallow water to create a comprehensive swim lesson environment which is unique to the industry. We value our Blue Gems Families and strive to offer the highest quality experience possible to best serve our surrounding community.
Air and Water Quality
Blue Gems prides itself on its crystal clean, shiver-free & organically purified pool water that is very gentle for your skin, eyes, and hair. Our eco-friendly on-site salt-based chlorine generator provides safe water sanitation without any additional harmful chemicals or additives. We also use industry leading water filters which are able to remove particles as small as 1 micron from the water. Traditional filters generally only remove particles at a level of 20-40 microns.
We understand the importance of fresh “chlorine smell free” air during the learning process for our students and staff. Blue Gems uses state-of-the-art equipment to dehumidify our indoor pool space in the most natural way – by using large amounts of outdoor air. The system fully circulates and exchanges the air at least every 10 minutes to deliver maximum air quality and comfort.
Pool Design
Have you ever jumped into a pool and it was deeper than you expected? Or have you been wading in a lake or ocean and before you knew it you were swept out to deeper water where you could no longer touch the bottom? Little swimmers playing in shallow water can quickly and easily be swept into deeper waters without warning! These are real-life situations when deep water skills are essential.
Our pool is specifically designed with both shallow and deep-water areas to incorporate deep water skills into our curriculum which are crucial for water safety, confidence and advanced swimmer development.
